Hi, Hans?
I really like travelling. I think last four years were the worst period, like the Middle Ages, to me. This was because something extremely sad happened to me 4 years ago. Before the period, I enjoyed going somewhere on almost every weekend, even when I feel so tired.
I think there are lots of beautiful places which please our eyes^^, but I want to recommend New Zealand to you. I visited there 5 years ago for 17 days with one of my coworkers. That place is unbelievably picturesque and exquisite. As you know the country is very famous for lambs and pasture. I got the impression that people there looked just like lambs. So mild, gentle and cheerful. I even thought that there must exist no crime and scoundrels. The landscape is not monotonous. You can enjoy not only green forests but also glaciers also, etc. I bet you will not be disappointed at all there!!

Hi, Hans!

Well, Yeongdong where I live has very beautiful nautre, like Minjuji Mountain and Geum river. During summer, you can enjoy your holidays here with your family. In addition, Yeongdong is famous for Grapes and dried persimmons. So Grape festival and dried persimmons festival are held on every August and November. You can buy much quality anc cheap fruit during the festivals.

Hi Hans,
Thanks for telling us about great tourist sites. This is a good question.

My hometown is Vancouver so I'll mention some highlights.

Stanley Park is very beautiful and if you go on weekends you can see artist's exhibits in the park as well as walk along the seawall that surrounds the park.

Gastown is a historical section of town and has some good restaurants and shops.

English Bay is the harbour beach area and you can enjoy a hotdog while sitting on the beach or sit at a beach view window of one of the cafes.

If you take the cablecar ride up Grouse Mountain, you can get great views of the whole city.

Hi, Hans!!!
I'm so happy that you've found your electronic dictionary. I'm sure our class will have a fantastic membership with various characters, energetic, academic, talkative, artistic, shy, gentle, funny, sensitive, generous, polite... ^ ^
I like travelling anywhere very much and really enjoy meeting new people. Personally, I prefer travelling in the third world such as India, Tibet, Nepal and Morocco and I was reaaly happy there. The reason is:
It has undeveloped primitive nature. As for me who is under stress, I feel more comfortable with the nature. Whether the nature is beautiful or not, I feel more free and find myself naked in the primitive nature.
Second, people are very good and friendly... Unlike other people developed countries, they are very curious about foreigners and friendly to them. Of course, some people bothers me too much, but their life style is more simple and the people are very pure. So it's possible to comunicate with them heart to heart without many words. It's wonderful to have an experience to talk whith them without English. Do you know 70% of communication is performed with nonverbal ones...
If you visit there, you will be grateful to your life and the people.
